Introduction

Praise and grace be to Allah who has enabled us to write this book, which is the best guide for every veterinarian. The intention at the beginning was to write a comprehensive book that includes field information that will be the best guide for the veterinarian in the field of ruminants, horses, poultry and fish, but I did not have enough time to complete it for all these species.

But I will continue this work (poultry – fish – dogs and cats – horses) until I reach a comprehensive book, Allah willing.

Nevertheless, I have come a good way from this book, thanks to God and the determination of our brothers and colleagues. This book contains purely field information about what the veterinarian may see in the field regarding cows, sheep and horses, as well as vaccinations, some genital diseases, and some surgical operations that benefit every veterinarian.

As it is known that education in universities is an academic education based on giving scientific information exactly as it is written in books. Therefore, we find that the student resorts to searching for practical experience and field work, and of course he does not find his goal except by learning the profession during study or after graduation with veterinarians who have been working in the field for a long time.

So you see him knocking on doors asking for learning, sometimes he is welcomed and accepted, and sometimes he is rejected. He doesn’t have much options.

* Hence the idea of this book: which is that why not this field information in a comprehensive book about what the veterinarian may see in the field. Because if there are veterinarians with experience in the field to teach some of the students, what about the rest of the students? Who, in my opinion, are many?

So I wrote this book that makes the newly graduated veterinarian do not need to ask anyone and provide him with sufficient information about any case he may see.

I have made sure that this information is purely field information so that this book places the veterinarian in the field problem and how to deal with it in a successful field way.

What I would like to say is that this book is the best practical guide for both the veterinarian, the veterinarian’s assistant, the agricultural engineer and his assistant, given the scientific and practical overlap….

For convenience, I have divided the book into eight chapters for easy referencing:

Chapters

Chapter One Sheep diseases
Chapter Two Temperature, respiration, pulse rate
Chapter Three Cows diseases
Chapter Four Vaccines
Chapter Five The main diseases of horses
Chapter Six Genital system diseases
Chapter Seven Some operations
Chapter Eight Medications

May Allah be with us…. H.G
